Based on the latest Commonwealth Best Practice Guidelines for the management of challenging
behaviours, this video training program is designed to introduce carers to the concept and practice of
Dementia Care using planned strategies rather than “care by coping.” It may also be used as a
component and support of broader ongoing education to maintain a culture of continuous quality
improvement in aged care facilities.
